EPFO is a proposal to hike wage ceiling for coverage 15,000 to 25,000
New Delhi: Retirement fund body EPFO is likely to approve a proposal to hike wage ceiling for coverage under its social security schemes to Rs 25,000 per month from the existing Rs 15,000, as per media reports.
The move can bring in 50 lakh more formal sector workers into the social security net of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in addition to its existing subscriber base of around 4 crore organised sector workers.
EPFO had increased the wage ceiling to Rs 15,000 per month from Rs 6,500 on September 1, 2014 in view of price rise and pay revisions in the formal sector.
The Union Cabinet made it optional for employees earning less than Rs 15,000 per month to contribute towards EPFO schemes.
At present, employees are required to contribute 12 percent of their basic wages towards social security schemes run by the EPFO.

In what comes as a major relief for government employees, the Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance to central government employees and Dearness Relief to pensioners with effect from January 1, 2019. This will involve an increase of 3% over the existing rate of 9% of the basic pay or pension.
“The Union Cabinet has given its approval to the release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees, and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners w.e.f. 1.1.2019 representing an increase of 3% over the existing rate of 9% of the Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate for price rise,” the government said in a release.

1.Wings of Fire: An
Autobiography of Abdul Kalam
Every common man who by his sheer grit and hard work achieves success should share his story with the rest for they may find inspiration and strength to go on, in his story. The 'Wings of Fire' is one such autobiography by visionary scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who from very humble beginnings rose to be the President of India. The book is full of insights, personal moments and life experiences of Dr. Kalam. It gives us an understanding on his journey of success.
Dr. Kalam by narrating his life journey evokes the reader to identify with one’s inner fire and potential, for he was of the firm belief that each one of us was born with the strength and potential to make a tangible change in the world. How he inspired himself to achieve dreams and how he went about accomplishing so much is what the book captures nicely.
The book recollects many anecdotes and stories from childhood, his time at school and college. The time spent at the Langley Research Center, NASA and Wallops Flight Facility gets a lot of attention.

2. Without Fear
BHAGAT SINGH (1907-1931)
lived at a time when India's freedom struggle was beginning to fl ag and when
Mahatma Gandhi's non-violent, passive resistance to partial liberation was
beginning to test the patience of the people. The youth of India was inspired
by Bhagat Singh's call to arms and enthused by the defiance and dare-devilry of
the army wing of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association to which he and
his comrades, Sukhdev and Rajguru, belonged. His call, Inquilab Zindabad!

the British after a sham trial for his involvement in the Lahore Conspiracy

Factories Act Registration
Registration Process
·
First of all type
"www.uplabour.gov.in" on the address bar and press the inter button.
·
Now the website of Uttar
Pradesh Labor Department has opened with you. If you want to see websites
in Hindi then click on the "Hindi" button.
·
Now click on the
"Online Registration and Renewal" link.
·
Now the "Labor Act
Management System" website has opened in front of you.
·
From here you can choose
your language. If you want to look in Hindi then select 'Hindi' language.
·
Read the instructions on
the website.
·
To access the Portal,
you must subscribe to the portal.
·
Now if you are a new
user then click on the "Register Now" button then click on New
Registration. Fill out your details in the form provided and create user-id and
password.
·
Sign up and log in with
your user-id and password.
·
Now under the
regulations of this portal, you can use for registration, renewal, annual
returns, inspection report, etc.
·
Firstly, select the Act
and click on Registration.
·
Now read the
instructions given and tick on "I have read all instructions
carefully" and click on the I AGREE button.
·
After this you will see
2 steps, from which Step-1 select "Site Plan Details Under
Factories Act" .
·
Now fill out the given
form and submit all necessary attachments. Thereafter, an application
number will be generated.
·
Now click on "Step
2 Registration under factories act" now fill out the given form and
calculate Fee, and submit the form.
·
You can see your saved
form by going to the View application.
·
Now you can select and
edit your safe form, apply attachments, pay, etc.
·
By visiting the
Attachments button you can upload the necessary attachment such as the photo of
the entity, identity certificate, PAN card.
·
Select the attachment by
going to CHOOSE FILE and open it.
·
You can now go to the
Payment button and enter the application number (APPLICATION NO.) And select
the payment mode.
·
There are 2 types of
payment mode 1. Invoices 2. Online | By clicking on the invoice, you can
download the invoice form and deposit it to the Treasury Bank of the respective
district or select Online mode to proceed.
·
Selecting online now you
are on the website of the Treasury where you select Pay without Registration
and select the department (SRV-Labor and Employment Department, Uttar Pradesh).
Then enter the name of the concerned Regional Office in the Division column,
then select Treasury column Select Treasury of the respective district, then
enter the name of the firm in the depositor name, after which, carefully select
the head of the related act and mention the fee.

अबआपकी एप्लीकेशन सम्बंधित श्रम प्रवर्तन अधिकारी पास प्रेषित हो चुकी है |
·
श्रम प्रवर्तन अधिकारी निरीक्षण के बाद एप्लीकेशन को अप्प्रूव/रिजेक्ट कर सकते हैं |
·
रिजेक्ट होने की दशा में कमियों को दूर करते हुए एप्लीकेशन पुनः सबमिट करें |

downloadकरने के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन Approved होने के बाद view application पर जाएँ तत्पश्चात application को सेलेक्ट करें तथा नीचे आ रहे optionsमें से download certificate पर क्लिक करें |
